Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on the services of Swansea City defender Ashley Williams in the summer window, as he looks to add more power and leadership to the back-line.
We have been heavily linked with the powerhouse for some time now and all indications suggest that he is one of the clubs summer priorities.
And although Swansea do not want to sell, they know that Williams would like the step up and they have already started looking for possible replacements, according to the Sun website.
However, Wenger unhappy at the Swans’ £10m valuation and could switch his attentions if he cannot get him for a cheaper price.
Williams is rated as one of the best centre-backs in the top-flight and £10 million is not a lot considering he is in the prime of his career and has been brilliant since the Swans got back into the Premier League.
So Wenger should stop being tight and realise that he has a massive transfer kitty to play with
