Arsenal have signed 9-year-old South African wonderkid Jayden Adetiba.
Little Jayden is a committed Arsenal fan and was unable to hide his joy at joining the Gunners.
He said: “I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy.
“I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend.
“The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team.”
Jayden, who has been playing for the SuperSport United Soccer School has had a five-week trial and has obviously done enough to earn his dream move.
The young lad has revealed that 22-year-old Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is the player he wants to emulate at Arsenal and also is a huge fan of Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Ronaldo because of his hard work, and Iwobi because he was at the Arsenal academy at the age of seven and now plays for the first team,” he said.
There is a long way to go but fingers are crossed that Jayden develops into a world-class talent.
