Arsenal v Leicester City is definitely one of the most interesting games this week and one that is absolutely crucial to both sides.
The Gunners will be looking for a fifth straight win in all competitions, but Leicester will no doubt have other ideas. Here are five things I hope to see from the lads this evening.
Aubameyang scoring again
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already scored 19 league goals this season, and the Gabon striker will be eyeing another Golden Boot at the end of this campaign.
He has three goals in four matches against the Foxes.
Keeping Jamie Vardy quiet
Jamie Vardy is one of the most lethal strikers in Europe, and that explains why he is the Premier League’s current top scorer.
He also enjoys scoring against Arsenal as he has six goals in his last five matches against us, but I back our new defence to keep him quiet in this game.
Bukayo Saka back on the left
Bukayo Saka has shown so much versatility this season, and that is one attribute that makes him special.
However, he struggled on the right in the last game and I hope to see him back on the left in this game.
Another start for Cedric Soares
Soares had a good game in his first start the last time out and I would love to see the Portuguese star maintain his place in the starting XI.
A return to a back four
We have been playing with a back three in our last few games and we have been getting the results.
However, I worry that Leicester City’s pace on the attack will catch us out if we maintain a back three in this game. I hope that Arteta will revert back to a back-four.
If these five things come together this evening I am very confident that Arsenal will collect all three points and take a huge step towards European football next season.
