Arsenal forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette must play together at every opportunity and that is not just an opinion, it is backed up by cold hard facts.

The dynamic dup are breaking scoring records already and their record stands up against some of the best strike partnerships in Premier League history.

The following figures are based on the first 500 minutes played by the respective partnerships

Aubameyang & Lacazette 11 goals over 474 mins
Aguero & Jesus 11 goals over 495 mins
Lukaku & Sanchez 6 goals over 504 mins
Bergkamp & Wright 3 goals over 450 mins
Bergkamp & Henry 3 goals over 494 mins

It really cannot be open to debate when you see those numbers whether or not Aubameyang and Lacazette are ideally suited as a partnership.

Of course things can change but until they start to slow down or hit a bad patch the pair simply have to start every game possible.

It may well be that the start they have got off to is as good as it gets, who knows, but right now they are on fire and the signs are there that there is more to come and that an understanding between the pair is starting to develop.

To some extent the statistics are a little misleading I admit, some players have had slow starts to their careers at a new club and need time to gel as was the case for both Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry but the way that Aubameyang and Lacazette are playing right now it is surely a no-brainer that their partnership is allowed to continue unhindered.
